Internet Banking Internet Banking is a web-based application that enables the financial institution to deliver Internet services to their customers and provides a secure environment for them to manage their finances and conduct financial transactions online. Internet Banking can be deployed to support almost any financial product or service, application form and customer account information enquiry. It has a whole range of appealing features that address specific needs of private and corporate clients. Secure operating environment is created by means of extensive multi-level security system that provides secure data exchange between the business and its customers and protects customers' confidential information against unauthorised access and fraudulent use. Password protection is enhanced with anti-keystroke logging and anti-spyware facilities, aimed at preventing login details interception. Password security indicators are in place to prompt the Internet Banking user to select more complex combination of characters as their passwords to impede password cracking. As a second layer of security, identity of users, authorised to send instructions to the financial organisation, is verified through transaction authentication numbers (TAN), a form of single use passwords, or DSA digital certificates. Alternatively, security token devices (two-factor authentication facility) can be used for this purpose. Corporate clients are enabled to set up multiple users with varying levels of authority inside their Internet Banking accounts to restrict the activities of users to their respective responsibilities within the client's organisation. Internet Banking application is seamlessly integrated with Macrobank core system (accounting and workflow automation sub-systems) to enable real time transaction processing and make account (product) application process an integral part of the workflow. It can also be interfaced with the Application Form Setup module for easy and quick introduction of new application forms and the CRM module to ensure better and more efficient customer service.
